The Spirit Award recognizes exceptional contribution to the advancement of L’Evate over the previous 12 months. In 1999, the award was created and awarded to Betty Cannon because of her history of commitment to community and her dedication to furthering the L’Evate program. Every year, we continue to honor Betty’s leadership and community support by presenting the award at the annual luncheon to a community leader.

- Exemplifies the spirit of L’Evate
- Demonstrates effective leadership abilities
- Actively participates in L’Evate activities and events
- Promotes participation of other alumni
- Effectively participates in mentorship/development of others
Qualifications
- Graduate of L’Evate
- Alumni in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years actively supporting program initiatives
